Kinsey's Archery, Buyer, Hunting/Shooting
Kinsey's Archery Products, Mount Joy, PA, is seeking a Buyer with broad based experience in the archery & hunting industry, i.e., 5-7 years in retail, 5 years purchasing/inventory management, or 3 years direct sales experience. Extensive knowledge of archery products is required by way of direct experience working in the archery/hunting industry. Previous responsibility for satisfying the requirements of key accounts is a must, with a proven understanding and application of marketing principles to archery. Effectiveness in relationship management is required; trade show experience is a plus, as well as Bachelor's Degree in business-related field.
Responsibilities include shared responsibility for the purchasing, sales and promotions functions in archery products and sporting goods business. Manage product selection for large number of vendors with significant SKU counts. Work with senior management to develop strategies resulting in increased sales penetration and improved margins. Participate in product development to broaden penetration and diversify company. Maintain service levels on customer orders and minimize inventory dollar investment by maintaining appropriate inventory levels. Maintain inventory by preparing purchase orders, adding new items to inventory, maintaining information systems and historical references.
