This is a chance to design for the best performance apparel products in the world, specifically our Outdoor products. Our Outdoor lines include Mountain sports and Hunt/Fish. We are an authentic brand and need a strong creative individual with an eye for fashion, color and functionality to assure we remain authentic in these categories. What will I do at UA?
• Be the key partner in creating brand identity and distinctive Under Armour Outdoor apparel offerings with a creative and current design vision.
• Design and present a collection story for the "Under Armour Outdoor Man/Woman" to our team and customers under aggressive time lines.
• Develop and execute clear and detailed technical kits for development.
• Interact cross functionally with PLM's, Developers, Patternmakers and Fabric Developers on seasonal line development, including Fit Sessions.
• Build and continually improve the Outdoor category.
What does UA need from me?
• BA or BFA in Apparel Design
• 4+ years of related experience, working in the sports industry highly preferred, working in Men's or Women's product.
• Exceptional skills in hand illustration.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and PhotoShop.
• Solid understanding of garment construction and textiles, including price points and merchandising needs.
• Passion every day to design compelling, cutting edge product.
