Boyt Harness: A Trusted Name in Apparel

After a toasty summer, I've been enjoying cooler temperatures for a host of reasons. One of them has been the ability to get out and enjoy some of my new Boyt Harness gear. This is the first year I have tried Boyt's apparel so I was anxious to get out and see how they spoke to me. (Don't ya'll go acting like I'm the only one that lets my clothes speak to me).

The High Prairie Hunting Shirt is a great weight for wearing alone in cool weather like we're enjoying now or layering under a coat and vest when temperatures drop. Another plus: the pretty hues that are available in the women's hunting shirt. Mine is Red and Tan and is a statement in the most classic of ways.
On a more practical note, the Weatherweave Upland Hunting Vest HU1200 is the best fitting vest I've come across so far. Being small, I don't really enjoy bulky orange vests that wind up making me look like I'm drowning in daddy's clothes so this one allows me to wear the necessary orange while being able to move in a vest that fits.
Finally, let's talk about my favorite piece of all. The Women's Tripleloc Waterproof/Windproof Vest HU215W. The moment I put the vest on I knew I'd be wearing this for more than just hunting excursions. I was transported to crisp fall/early winter days spent outside at craft shows or gathering maple syrup somewhere up East. It's just that kind of vest. It says (I know, again with the clothes talking thing), "wear me hunting today and with jeans and a long-sleeved tee to the market tomorrow." It's just causally chic and functional all wrapped up in one. Get one for yourself and you won't be disappointed.
